Sales and Design Associate

Our Sales & Design Associates are drawn to people, colors, style, and design. Every day you will connect in person with clients and discover their needs to match products with quality craftsmanship. You will help clients with their projects, whether big or small, using state of the art 3D floor planning, custom or in stock furniture selections and completing their home spaces with accessories, rugs, and lighting.

We offer a comprehensive training plan that allows you to earn while you learn.

    Responsibilities

  • Determine client’s needs, answer product questions, and recommend right solutions
  • Design and plan ascetically pleasing spaces from product specifications to placement
  • Manage the complete selling process to optimize each customer’s brand experience
  • Create customized presentations utilizing 3D floor planning software, product, fabric, color, and finish options

      • What You Have

      • Proven work experience in Retail Sales, design, or related field
      • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new programs
      • HS Diploma, preferred College – Business, Design, Fashion or Arts
      • Proficiency in basic math
        • Requirements

        • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, holidays
        • In person, full time

          Boston Interiors is a successful home furnishings retailer with seven stores in Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We are seeking an experienced office assistant to provide customer service & delivery support.

          Essential Functions:

          • Front Desk/reception coverage
          • Answering Phones
          • General Support to all departments within Operations

           

          Qualifications:

          Boston Interiors is a successful home furnishings retailer with seven stores in Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator.

          We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. The ideal candidate must work well independently as well as in a team setting and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

          • Retail customer service background
          • Excellent customer service and communication skills in person, email and by phone.
          • Experience with retail customers and vendors and ability to work closely with peers in a professional office environment.
          • Prior retail/retail office support, preferably in furniture or direct retail customer service
          • Ability to multitask, stay organized and focused
          • Excellent follow up skills are an absolute must
          • Strong phone skills, including the ability to listen and offer empathy when necessary
          • Strong PC skills, specifically with Microsoft Windows Operating System, Office Applications and Outlook Email
          • Full time: Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
          • Location: Stoughton, MA

          Furniture Repair Technician/Customer Service Road Technician


          Boston Interiors is a successful home furnishings retailer with seven stores in Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Customer Service Road Technician with terrific communication and customer service skills. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

          The Customer Service Road Technician performs in home service appointments for our customers to repair furniture. The technician works closely with the customer service team to satisfy any furniture damages or manufacturer defects our customers experience. Repairs include touching up wood finishes, upholstery, mechanism replacements, adjusting sectional clips, leveling legs, adjusting drawer glides, replacing seat cores, cleaning upholstery.

          Essential Functions:

          • Travel to customers' homes to assess and complete furniture repairs
          • Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and positive energy while working in customers' homes
          • Work efficiently in customer homes to resolve service issue within dedicated time frame
          • Repair merchandise, properly install and adjust product per the service ticket and report back to Customer Service Manager
          • Utilize best methods for resolution to repair an item in the customer’s home
          • Reliable and works independently
          • Ability to communicate with customers effectively
          • Master products and company knowledge
          • Adhere to state traffic and transportation laws
           

          Qualifications:

           

          We are looking for a skilled technician who is capable of working quickly, efficiently, independently and has excellent communication skills.

          • 1 Year experience working with wood furniture, leather, fabric & upholstery
          • Color matching & blending
          • Wood repairs and Touch ups
          • Upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements
          • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
          • Making repairs to furniture requires lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving furniture items to accommodate the repairs necessary to satisfy the customer
          • Ability to lift 50lbs
          • A clean motor vehicle record and valid driver’s license

          Schedule: Full time Tuesday – Saturday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
