Our mission: to find the best home furnishings on the market. Of course we were also there to take note of the latest trends - the good, the bad and the ugly - all of which we’ll share with you over the coming days.
The first trend on our list: Metallics.
Metallic fabrics are hot. And we loved seeing them updated in a way that is completely fresh for 2011 -mixing with natural fabrics, such as cotton and linen. The contrast in texture and sheen is gorgeous and the pairing is somewhat unexpected, which is what makes them feel so right now. It's hard to see the subtle metallic shimmer in some of these photographs, but you'll get the idea. What do you think? Would you try these in your home?
