High Point Market Trends 2011: Reclaimed Wood

A couple months back our buyers set out to High Point Market on a mission to snag some of the latest and greatest furniture on the market. What they saw, was a continuing trend towards the use of reclaimed wood (as seen here) along with some updated details like rustic paint colors and carved details. We didn't end up purchasing the pieces you'll see featured below, but thought this trend was pretty cool and worth sharing with you. Enjoy!

Multipurpose pieces were also seen around market. The above storage trunk would be perfect at the end of your bed or as a coffee table. Below, these rustic cubes work great as end tables or use several stacked together on their side for a storage bookcase or toy bin.

Sticking to pairing in multiples...we also eyed these glamorous mirrored cubes. Can you image these in a swanky city space? Love them!
