The thin underlay cushions rugs to prevent fiber damage and allow continuous airflow to prevent unwanted moisture and mildew buildup. The light cushioning effect allows the pad and the rug to breathe together with no risk of oxidation or discoloration to any flooring surface. Made from two nonwoven polyester fabrics that are permanently needle-punched together and will not crumble, flatten out, or shed fibers. Absolutely skid-proof- both sides of the underlay are lightly coated with a scientifically formulated clean-lift water based adhesive to grip to both the rug and floor. The reversible pad will not give a permanent bond to the floor, it is a repositionable underlay harmless to carpeting, floors and rugs. Other sizes also available by special order.
